Canberra B.2 repaint WK162

This repaint represents Canberra B.2, WK162 of 245 Sqn, Royal Air Force Signals Command, based at RAF Tangmere, 1960. Built in 1955, WK162 was written off in August, 1985 and scrapped at Wyton in 1988. Note this repaint is for the late-era model B.2.

Canberra B.2 repaint WH670

This repaint represents Canberra B.2, WH670 of 245 Sqn, Royal Air Force Signals Command, based at RAF Tangmere, circa 1961. Built in 1953, WH670 amounted some 10,000 hours flying time before being scrapped in October, 1991. Note this repaint is for the late-era model B.2.

Canberra B.2 repaint WD950

This repaint represents Canberra B.2, WD950 of the Swifter Flight, Royal Air Force, based at El Adem, Libya, 1959. This aircraft wore a special scheme devised for high speed, low-altitude trials over the Libyan desert. It was one of several B.2s converted by Marshalls of Cambridge with strengthened main spars to withstand high-stress flying. The data gathered from these trials was used in the development of the BAC TSR.2. Note this repaint is for the early production model B.2.
