Canberra B(I).6 repaint WT309

This repaint represents Canberra B.6 WT212 of the Aircraft & Armament Experimental Establishment, Boscombe Down, UK, early 1990s. This aircraft, despite being built as an interdictor, never saw squadron service. It initially served with the RAF Handling Squadron in the mid 1950s, later serving with the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough. After this, it received a modified version of the famous 'raspberry ripple' paint scheme, in order to provide better lighting conditions for underwing cameras. After ending up as a Ground Insructional machine, it was scrapped in 1998, the cockpit being saved and preserved. Note that while it represents a B(I).6, this repaint is for the standard B.6 model.
